Koru Homebased Childcare

Koru Homebased Childcare is a homebased early childhood service for Ellerslie families who prefer small-group care in educator homes.

What Koru Homebased offers

Koru Homebased places children with approved educators in home settings. Group sizes stay small. Ask about educator matching, visit schedules and how learning is recorded. It is not a fixed centre building with a public street frontage.

Compare with Kiddie Star Homebased if you are choosing between homebased networks.

Hours and how to enrol at Koru Homebased

Hours depend on the educator. Enquire through the contact buttons on this listing. Ask about vacancies by age and your street location.

Planning the visit

Ask to meet the educator and see the home. Confirm ratios, meals and holiday cover. Write down fee answers.

Compare fees, waiting times and first-visit requirements before you commit. Take previous records where relevant so the appointment is used for care or enrolment, not reconstruction. Parking on Main Highway and side streets in Ellerslie is limited at peak times, so allow a buffer. If books or classes are full, ask about the waitlist process and whether sibling priority applies. Write down who you spoke to and the date, especially for waitlists, referrals and term enrolments. Confirm cancellation rules and payment methods before you pay a deposit or term fee.
