Grafton Pharmacy is the community pharmacy on the hospital side of Grafton. Use the phone, email or website button on this listing. Healthpoint lists Eric Ho as dispensary manager. It is a retail pharmacy, not the hospital inpatient dispensary and not a GP clinic.
What Grafton Pharmacy does
Prescriptions are dispensed here, and Healthpoint lists advice and treatment for common minor illnesses for all ages, with no charge listed for that advice. Anyone can walk in for that. It is not an emergency department. A child with breathing difficulty, a rash with fever that is getting worse, or a script you cannot wait on belongs with the hospital or an urgent-care clinic, not in a retail queue at closing time.
Grafton Medical Centre says repeat prescriptions can be sent to a pharmacy. If that is your GP, ask them to send the script here and confirm it has arrived before you cross town. The dispensary email button is the practical channel.
Hours and how to use Grafton Pharmacy
Healthpoint, updated 17 September 2026, lists Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm, Saturday 10am to 4pm and Sunday 10am to 1pm. Public holidays are 10am to 1pm, including the published list of Waitangi Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday, ANZAC Day, King’s Birthday, Matariki, Labour Day and Auckland Anniversary. Closed Christmas and New Year. Use the phone button if you are arriving near closing with a hospital script, because the weekend hours are short.
What Grafton Pharmacy is not
It is not a walk-in doctor and not the hospital pharmacy counter inside the wards. Scripts from Tend or Grafton Medical Centre still need to be sent or brought in. Ask the counter to confirm the script is there before you queue, especially after 5pm on a weekday or on a Sunday afternoon.
Planning the stop
Parking is the hospital system or time-limited street parks. There is no published customer car park for the pharmacy. Buses stop on the Park Road side. Allow time if you are collecting before a clinic. Grafton Pharmacy is the retail counter, not the ward dispensary.
