Little Treehouse Kindergarten is the independent early childhood centre on Remuera Road in Remuera. It is not part of the Auckland Kindergarten Association free kindergarten network and not a large national chain.
Little Treehouse Kindergarten sits on the main Remuera Road strip, which is convenient if you already travel that corridor for school or work. Public information about the centre is limited compared with larger brands, so a visit matters more than the brochure. Ask about ages, teacher qualifications, session length and whether the programme is sessional or full-day. It is a smaller independent option rather than a BestStart or Kindercare scale centre.
Because the centre shares a busy commercial stretch of Remuera Road, drop-off parking is the practical constraint. Plan extra time on the first visit. Ask whether sibling priority exists if you already have a child enrolled elsewhere on the same road.
Confirm current hours through the contact buttons on this listing. Enrolment is by enquiry and visit. Ask about vacancies, settling visits and 20 Hours ECE. Do not assume a same-week place. Independent centres often run tighter rolls than large national networks.
Families who want a smaller independent centre on Remuera Road rather than a free AKA session or a full-day commercial network. If you need published meal programmes and a gym, compare BestStart. If you want Montessori, compare Little Earth or Remuera Montessori. Little Treehouse Kindergarten is the independent Remuera Road option to tour in person.
Ask about fees, hours, ages and how teachers communicate with parents. Write the answers down so you can compare with Uplands, Poppies and the BestStart centres. Confirm whether the centre closes in school term breaks. Ask any question that would change your decision before you pay a deposit, including holiday weeks, ratio on a busy morning, and how relievers are used.
