Timezone – Westfield Riccarton

Timezone, at Westfield Riccarton, gives local families an indoor entertainment centre packed with the latest interactive games, video games and high tech prize machines, alongside glow in the dark mini golf, tenpin bowling and bumper cars.

What Timezone offers Riccarton families

Timezone describes itself as all about fun and excitement no matter a visitor’s age, giving families a wet weather or evening entertainment option that suits a wide age range under one roof. Following an expansion into a bigger, better space, the venue now combines its traditional arcade games and prize machines with a fuller entertainment offering, including glow in the dark mini golf for a themed round, tenpin bowling lanes, and bumper cars for younger children wanting something more physical than a screen-based game.

The venue’s own prize machine and gift card system gives families a straightforward way to turn a visit into small rewards for kids, and Timezone accepts Westfield gift cards, useful for a birthday or holiday gift that can be spent flexibly across arcade credits or specific attractions like bowling and mini golf.

Visiting Timezone

Timezone is located on Level 1 outside the main mall building, on Rotherham Street next to Rebel Sport, with its own entrance off Rotherham Street and the Rotherham Street car park.

For more on entertainment options across Riccarton, see our Photography, Parties & Entertainment page, and our Riccarton suburb page for the fuller local picture. You can also visit the Timezone website directly for current hours and pricing.

Families planning a birthday celebration often find Timezone a practical option for a group of children wanting a mix of activities in one place, rather than booking several separate venues for games, bowling and mini golf.

Given how popular the venue can get during school holidays and weekends, families are encouraged to arrive earlier in the day for shorter waits at bowling lanes and the mini golf course.

Combining a Timezone visit with wider shopping or a meal at Westfield Riccarton gives families an easy way to fill an entire afternoon within the same complex.

Families are encouraged to check current pricing for cards and specific attractions directly, since arcade credit and activity costs can vary between visits.
